Every one of these costs something to keep. They are the reasons the software behaves the way it does.
A school's numbers belong to the school
Grade boundaries, fee thresholds, approval limits and the chart of accounts are rows a school edits, not constants in our code. A school that changes its policy should not have to wait for our release.
One record, or it is not a platform
If finance and academics keep separate copies of the same learner, the school has bought two systems with one login screen. Every module reads the same record, or it does not ship.
Books you can hand to an auditor
Posted entries cannot be quietly edited. A correction is a reversal with a reason. It is slower to build and it is the only version worth trusting.
Built for the phones people already have
Most of a school community will meet Rynedu on a mid-range Android phone over a patchy connection. That is the device we design for, not the laptop in the office.
Say what is true, including when it is inconvenient
No invented customer counts, no certifications we do not hold, no features that are half-built. A school can check, and one day it will.
African schools are not a special case of somewhere else
Mobile money, vote heads, boarding, transport, CBE, term structures and arrears carried across years are the normal case here. They are built as first-class, not bolted on.
